Three Dimensional Calotypes taken with my 1890s London Stereoscopic camera. The camera is not without issues the worst being a balsamed lens making one slower than the other, that can almost be overcome during development. It makes focusing difficult too. The Septum was to long and presumably not original and the tripod thread had a metric 7mm thread probably for export. A new lens has been promised by he seller I have glued the septum to the right length and a bolt has been sourced cut to size and a tripod mounting plate adapted , But it works ! It is just a bit more challenging .

Paper , Shadows and Light. - Twin lenses by Perken and Rayment of Hatton Gardens. The lens defects on one of them dont seem to effect the picture but they do effect the exposure. Focusing is a challenge and at best a compromise. I have one set of waterhouse stops which fit perfectly . I am on the look out for a matching set. At the moment they are wide open at F8.
